The scenic Northern Territory landscape of the recent epic film "Australia" serves as backdrop for our Awesome Aussie Adventure. Arnhemland Barramundi Nature Lodge offers an astonishing sportfishing experience, with exclusive access to secluded rivers, coastal creeks and freshwater lagoons.

The remote lodge sits 250 miles northeast of Darwin, near an Aboriginal community. We’ll fish primarily for barramundi, Australia's premier sportfish. The Lodge also offers fascinating Aboriginal eco-cultural where you can submerge yourself in their traditional culture as well as birdwatching and nature tours.

But there’s way more to Australia than just fishing, mate! We'll also explore some other amazing attractions. Starting off in Sydney, we'll cruise the harbor, overlooking one of the world's most famous performing arts venues, the Sydney Opera House.

Then it's off to the beautiful Sails in the Desert Resort at Ayer's Rock. Known to the aboriginal people as Uluru, Ayer's Rock is a world-renowned sandstone formation that sits 450 kilometers by road from the nearest town, Alice Springs. It measures 1,142 feet high and six miles in circumference. The giant monolith appears to change color throughout the day, with sunrise and sunset particularly remarkable sights.

Then is off to Alice Springs - City of the Emeralds - for some shopping and a city tour. From here, we will travel to Darwin to begin our fishing adventure.

We'll wind up our adventure at the 5* Lizard Island Resort (Australia's #1 resort) on the northernmost island of The Great Barrier Reef. One of the natural wonders of the world, the Great Barrier Reef contains the world's largest collection of coral reefs, with 4000 varieties of coral and 1,500 species of fish, along with turtles, dolphins, whales and birds.

We'll finish up with an afternoon of shopping in Cairns for those last minute souvenirs before heading home.
