Where Darwin and Marlin Meet!
If you’re looking for the trip of a lifetime that involves releasing astounding numbers of marlin, Galapagos is the place to be. Long famous for inspiring Charles Darwin's theory of evolution, Ecuador's remote Galapagos Islands also boast some of the Pacific's best fishing for striped marlin with just enough giant black and blue marlin to keep your adrenalin flowing every minute of your fishing day.

Your angling adventure begins with your arrival in Guayaquil, Ecuador, on the South American mainland and takes you across to the Galapagas Islands. Our package can be easily combined with day excursions as well as a 2 or 3 night cruise around the islands to see the abundant land and marine wildlife that has made these islands famous. But if you’re an offshore enthusiast, it is the striped marlin fishing that will amaze you most!

Galapagos Billfishing Adventure

American captains are veteran fishermen of the area and have spent many years gaining competency in the local species. They can help make your fishing plans daily depending on what species you wish to target that day. Species include marlin (blues, blacks & striped), wahoo, sailfish, yellowfin tuna and dorado. Fishing is good year round due to many sea mounds and banks that bring the bottom up from a 1000 meters to less than 40 meters. These areas hold a lot of baitfish and in turn increase the billfish population.
