Legendary Sportfishing
Waterfall Resort offers some of the best salmon and halibut fishing in the world. In the clear cool waters surrounding Prince of Wales Island, rich tides prime the deep waters with millions of baitfish that attract annual returns of trophy-size salmon, halibut, red snapper and ling cod. This natural phenomena first made Waterfall one of the most productive salmon canneries in Alaska. Today, the resort attracts anglers of all skill levels for legendary sportfishing and Alaskan adventure. At Waterfall, nature surrounds you. The waterfall that gave the resort its name cascades down a nearby mountainside. Black bears, deer, eagles and other indigenous animals live in the surrounding area. As you explore, don't be surprised to witness a breaching whale shatter the silence as it splashes back into the water.
