If your looking for a dream trip that involves catching big game saltwater species look no further. Panama Big Game Fishing Club is located on the Island of Boca Brava. With the famous fishing of Hannibal Bank and Ilsa Coiba on one side, and the conveniences of "Tierra Firma" on the other, these fishing grounds have been made famous for their blues, blacks and striped marlin. Sailfish, dorado, and yellowfin tuna are also abundant. Inshore fishing gives you the dog tooth snapper and the amberjack, along with the ambience of the wilds as these islands are a part of Panama's national parks.
Big Game Fishing Club
Offshore and inshore fishing are both available for your fishing trip. Marlin, wahoo, sailfish, yellowfin tuna, and dorado are found offshore. While roosterfish, cobera snapper, and other species are located inshore. Your fishing plans can be planned daily. Meaning if you want to target a specific species all day, the guides will be more than happy to make that happen for you. All the guides at Panama Big Game Fishing are veterans and have spent many years gaining competency in the local species.

Your fishing trip will begin when your plane arrives at the airport in Panama City. Our representative will greet you and help you through customs. After customs you may choose to have a drink or beverage while you wait for you luggage to be picked up. You will then be transferred to your hotel to spend the night in Panama City (hotel expenses for this night are to be paid by you upon checkout). The next morning, our representative will greet you and arrange for you to board a short flight to David. From there, you will be picked up and taken on a one hour boat trip through a scenic mangrove arriving at a private island club.
You don't rough it here. A tropical pathway takes you to your private central air conditioned 600 square foot cottage, beautifully appointed with all the comforts of a world class lodge in a remote jungle atmosphere. These new first class cottages sleep up to six comfortably. Our anglers clubhouse features a bar, lounge and dining room with a panoramic view of the pacific Ocean and offshore islands.
You can rest assure that the food is going to be superb. The two owners have both had award winning seafood restaurants in Miami, Florida. The "Port of Call" seafood house and the still active "Tunas" of North Miami Beach, Florida. With over thirty years experience in the restaurant business, you will be sure each day will be a great dining experience.

If your flight arrives before 2:00 PM you can transfer to the lodge in one day. If your flight departs after 1:00 PM you can return to the USA in one day.

For trips that start on Monday, guests that arrive into Panama City before 2:00 PM, can stay at the lodge on Sunday night at no cost.
Sample Itinerary - Day 1: Departure to Panama. Your adventure will begin when you land at the airport in Panama City. Our staff will greet and walk you through Customs. Then off to a private lounge while your luggage is being picked up for you. You will then be driven to Caesar Park Hotel and Casino to spend the night in Panama City.
Day 2: Panama City to David. Early morning, you will be transferred to Albrook Airport, where you'll check in for your one-hour charter flight to the city of David. From there, you'll take a scenic hour-long water taxi to Isla Boca Brava where the Big Game Fishing Club is located. Once you have settled in, the rest of the day will be spent fishing. Overnight at lodge.
Day 3-4: Fishing days. After an early breakfast, you will set out in Big Game Fishing Club's first-class sportfishing boats for offshore action or to the nearby inland waters for light-tackle species. Overnight at lodge.
Day 5: Return to Panama City. After breakfast, you will return to Panama City, where you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight home.
A valid passport is required. Passengers assume all responsibility for obtaining valid passports.
No shots are required to enter Panama. Be sure to bring sunscreen. Note: health precautions are offered here as an informational service only. See your doctor or health clinic.
Don't speak Spanish? No problem, the majority of the staff can speak english.
Daytime temperatures typically range from 80-90 degrees during the day, but typically cool down to the 70s in the evening. Heavy tropical downpours can occur even during the "dry season" so be sure to pack a rainsuit. Humidity in the tropics can play havoc with cameras or other electronic devices.
We recommend you purchase trip cancellation insurance to cover any losses should you have to cancel to due to unforeseen illness or other emergency. Certain restrictions do apply. Premium rates are typically about $65 per $1,000 of coverage, and usually include some benefits for lost baggage, trip interruption, and emergency evacuation. Our recommended packing list and other briefing materials will be furnished on receipt of your trip deposit and reservation form.
