Uraima Falls is back!
In 2008, Uraima Lodge was destroyed by fire and has since been completely rebuilt. It operated December 2009 – May 2010. Approximately 60 anglers fished an average of 8 payaras per day, the biggest weighing 29 pounds. Eighty aymaras were also landed, the largest was 31 pounds. Anglers came from as far away as Russia to test their skill against these fierce fighting fish.
